It was Rachele Lynae's very first time to play Country Jam Colorado on Friday (June 19), but you wouldn't know it by the way she commands a stage with ease. The country singer-songwriter (mostly) dressed for the weather, sporting a black, fringe crop-top, tight grey jeans and a collection of stylish jewelry. But those in the crowd weren't paying attention to her outfit, which was quite literally out-sung by her performance. Like most females in country music, Lynae is a talent with kick-butt confidence.

The newcomer began her afternoon set with "Loaded Gun," which she followed with the upbeat "Out on the Floor," which got fans shakin' it on the lawn. Lynae was smart to include covers to keep Country Jam patrons alert, pulling from all over the board with unique renditions of the Beatles' "Come Together" and Adele's "Rolling in the Deep."

"I don't know about you, but I'm up here working on my sunburn," Lynae joked. The temperature pushed 100 degrees when she was onstage.

"I'm happy to be doing it because I love summertime," she added, right before playing "Sticky Summer Lovin'." She also busted out the ukulele for her current single, "Whole Lotta' Nothin'."

Other songs in her set included "Touch the Stars," "Clean" and "Words in Red."  Lynae's band even did an interesting mashup of Merle Haggard's "Mama Tried," Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive" and the Eagles' "Life in the Fast Lane."

"This is for the ladies out there," Lynae said of her song "Fishin' for Something." "If you are like me and my friends, we like having girls nights ... We're ready to just dance until our feet are screaming. And there's always at least one guy who tries to break up our little girl group."

Lynae wrapped up her first-ever Country Jam set with "Party 'Til the Cows Come Home," and the fans were more than eager to join in on the "Hey hey!" part. There are still two days left of Country Jam 2015, with performances by Tim McGraw and Toby Keith on the way.
