Proposed School Zones at Canyon Ridge High School [Audio]

Cheney Drive between Canyon Ridge and Walmart is currently 35mph. Twin Falls City Council is debating whether or not the speed zone adjacent to the school be reduced to 25mph, during school hours.

Some of you, who have seen high-school students racing down Cheney agree that the speed limit should be reduced. Others feel that the restrictions might back up traffic near the hospital.

I think that a school zone is a school zone. If you want to keep things safe, drop the limit to 25. Period.
