Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney E3 2014 Trailer: No Objections Here

After the Nintendo E3 digital presentation, the company announced that Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney will finally make its way to the US on August 29, and unveiled a new trailer for the 3DS-exclusive title.

Available in Japan since 2012 and in Australia since last year, the critically-acclaimed crossover between Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright mixes the exploration and puzzle solving of the Layton games with the courtroom drama of the Ace Attorney series. Think of it as an animated, playable, Japanese 'Law & Order,' and you're on the right track.

Due to their focus on dialogue, localization on both the Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright series has been historically slow, leading to huge delays between Japanese and Western releases. Waiting for these brilliant, charming titles can be frustrating, but it's good to know we won't have to wait too much longer for this eagerly awaited mash-up.
