TCM Interactive reports that Barack Obama won Ohio and six other swing states to surpass 270 electoral votes and secure another term as president.

As of 3 a.m.: Obama racked up 303 electoral votes to Romney’s 206, according to the CNN. Florida remained too close to call early on Wednesday.

"Tonight, in this election, you, the American people, reminded us that while our road has been hard, while our journey has been long, we have picked ourselves up, we have fought our way back, and we know in our hearts that for the United States of America, the best is yet to come," Obama told his supporters at his rally in Chicago Tuesday night.

During his speech, Obama promised to cross party lines. He even said that he wants to meet with Romney to discuss how to work together.

Romney addressed supporters in Boston, and congratulated Barack Obama. Romney said that his prayers would be with the president at such a challenging time for the country. "At a time like this we can't risk partisan bickering and political posturing," Romney said, later adding that he wished he had "fulfilled your wishes to lead this great country in a different direction."
