Preparations for Construction on New Cassia School Facilities Underway

OAKLEY,Id ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) The cassia school district is in the final planning and design stages of the new raft river high school. The district is also adding a new gym and AG shop for Oakley High School. Plans have been put into motion for upgrades and new schools across the district, after voters approved a bond this year. Now that the soil and geotechnical analysis has been completed, construction is set to begin this fall.

"The sub soil information and geological conditions are important pieces of information and will help guide our recommendations, our decisions and just overall help with project planning, design and construction,” said Debbie Critchfield with the Cassia School District. The site of the new gym and AG shop will be directly across the street from the Oakley High School.
