You can't check your Facebook wall these days without seeing one of your 'friends' ranting about politics.  That may or may not annoy you.  But, according to a new survey, there's a good chance that . . . yes, it annoys the crap out of you.

The Pew Research Center just released the results of a survey on Facebook and politics.  Turns out they don't mix as well as a lot of you or your friends think . . .

Only 25% say they always or mostly agree with their friends' political postings.

73% say they only sometimes agree or never agree with their friends' political posts.  In other words, you're probably bothering three quarters of your Facebook friends when you post about politics.

The most common strategy is just to ignore.  66% of people say they ignore the posts they disagree with.  28% can't help it and respond.

10% of people have blocked or de-friended someone for posting political stuff too often.  9% have blocked or de-friended someone for posting something political they disagreed with.
