POST FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Police have arrested two teenagers they say are responsible for a BB gun shooting rampage that caused an estimated $10,000 in damage.

The Coeur d'Alene Press reports that a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old, both males from Post Falls, were arrested this weekend and charged with felony malicious injury to property.

The shooters damaged 20 vehicles and three homes in northwest Post Falls more than a week ago. Post Falls police say they believe a high-powered BB gun was used during the spree. Officers found such a gun on the 17-year-old.

They also confiscated a knife. Post Falls Police Detective Dave Beck says the BB gun weighs and feels like a 9 mm Glock pistol. The 17-year-old is on probation for burglary. Police say he implicated the other man during questioning.
