TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Three students in Twin Falls schools have been arrested this week on allegations of possessing weapons on school property.

The first incident occurred on Tuesday when a student was arrested at Bridge Academy for allegedly bringing to school a pellet gun that closely resembled a firearm, according to the Twin Falls Police Department.

School Resource officers were following up on an unrelated investigation and located the weapon after reviewing surveillance video. According to police, the video showed a second student attempting to help conceal the weapon.

On Wednesday morning, a student at O’Leary Middle School was taken into custody on charges of possessing a weapon on school property. Students at the school reported seeing the suspect with a small Leatherman-style knife.
