Pokemon ORAS Trailer: Mega Rayquaza Get Primal

The face of Pokemon Emerald has returned with a whole new look in this new trailer for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

The latest trailer for Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby focuses on the Flying/Dragon-type Pokemon, Rayquaza. This green beast was the third Legendary Pokemon of the Hoenn region back when Pokemon Sapphire, Ruby and Emerald were around. While the 3DS remake of Emerald is still just a rumor, this trailer at least confirms Rayquaza's addition to the Poke-roster.

Rayquaza can Mega Evolve into Mega Rayquaza, which is likely to be named Primal Rayquaza, like Kyogre and Groudon's Mega-Evolved forms. Mega Rayquaza has a unique ability called Delta Stream, which makes the weather tremendously windy. This cancels out most weather-based attacks and causes moves that normally do bonus damage to Flying-types (like Rock attacks) do reduced damage. Keep an eye out for Mega Rayquaza's Dragon Ascent attack.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will launch on Nov. 21 exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.
