Pocatello Airport Aims to Increase Traffic
POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — The city of Pocatello in southeastern Idaho has hired a market research company to find ways to increase traffic at Pocatello Regional Airport.
The Idaho State Journal reports that the city is paying Forecast $25,000 to tell the airport how to improve air service. The company will receive a $15,000 bonus from the city if can attract a new carrier or get a 20 percent boost to the airport's existing flight capacity.
SkyWest is currently the only airline operating out of Pocatello. The only direct flight is to Salt Lake City.
