BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Police in Boise say they have located a vehicle suspected in a hit-and-run that killed a 66-year-old Boise man.

Police in a statement Tuesday say they located the truck involved in the Dec. 21 collision and are now trying to determine the driver at the time of incident.

John Perkins was struck while crossing a street at a Boise intersection.

The Ada County Coroner's Office listed the cause of death as blunt force trauma.

Witnesses described the pickup as dark, lifted so it rides higher from the ground, and with a long bed. It also has off-road lights on its top and a loud exhaust.

Police are still seeking witnesses, including those in a passenger car driving southbound on Orchard Street moments before the incident.
