22 Pictures of Pharrell Williams Wearing His Ridiculous Canadian Mountie Hat

Pharrell Williams was at the 2014 Grammys in style to perform live, and brought a giant hat to help.

We’re not exactly sure what inspired the fashion choice. Maybe Pharrell watched the 1999 film Dudley Do-Right on cable before the show and figured if Brendan Fraser could pull it off so could he. Or maybe he just wanted to do his part to prevent forest fires.

Whatever the reason for the giant hat, it was definitely a highlight of the show. How could anyone say otherwise when the hat inspired a parody Twitter account that has already amassed over 10,000 followers?
