Look forward to going back to school in Fall 2014 with this gameplay trailer for Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth.

This newest gameplay trailer shows off the menus, cinematics, dungeon-crawling and battles we'll see in the role-playing game. We're reunited with both the S.E.E.S. crew from Persona 3 and the Investigation Team from Persona 4 as they join forces to solve the mystery of an otherworldly labyrinth that appears during a cultural festival.

The biggest change you might notice from Persona 3 and Persona 4 is that all of the action is presented in a first-person perspective, much like the classic Persona and Shin Megami Tensei games, or even the more recent Etrian Odyssey titles. You'll roam room by room with your party of six, shooting off spells, using Personas and beating Shadows down with your weapons.

While all of the action looks great and the battles are quintessential Persona fare, we're really looking forward to the crossover interaction between the two casts of characters from Persona 3 and Persona 4. We'll have to wait until the game is released in Fall 2014 for the 3DS, but we're sure it will be worth it.
