According to Destructoid, Frank deWindt, Director of Production at Aksys Games, Tweeted that mini-figures based on Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth are in the works.

No details are given about the figures, but a promotional image accompanied the announcement. The image shows several characters from Persona 3 and Persona 4 presented in Persona Q’a art style, as well as two new characters who were introduced in Persona Q. From Persona 3, Yukari Takeba, Junpei Iori and the Protagonist are shown, while the Persona 4 representatives look to be Chie Satonaka, Yosuke Hanamaru and Kanji Tatsusme. Rei and Zen, who are new additions to the series, are also featured.

DeWindt's Tweeted image shows the logos of two companies, World Scope and Contribe.net. World Scope has worked on jewelry products from the Persona series in the past, indicating they will likely be the manufacturer of the mini-figs as well. Based on a Chrome translation of their website, Contribe.net appears to be a partner to World Scope, and may be contributing to the figures in some way, possibly in the form of distribution.

While we have no idea which characters will be chosen for the mini-figures, the ones shown in the poster seem like a safe bet. Hopefully we’ll see even more Persona characters represented, like Yukiko Amagi, Aigis, Koromaru, Rise Kujikawa and Teddie, when the series is released.

Persona and Shin Megami Tensei fans are among the most loyal and dedicated in all of gaming (next to Earthbound, of course), so these figures will be welcome additions to fans’ collections. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on any new information as it becomes available.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is set for a Nov. 25 release on Nintendo 3DS.
