People Are Getting Magnets Implanted In Their Fingertips

So... this is a thing now. People are getting magnets surgically implanted in their fingertips.

A group of Biohackers, men and women modifying their bodies to understand the "transhuman experience," have now begun implanting magnets in their fingertips. Now before you start dreaming of being able to retrieve your car keys from your bag without looking, know that it doesn't work like that.

The implant would allow you to sense magnetic fields, pick up tiny metal objects, and determine whether metals are ferrous. What, no Force powers?

And getting one implanted doesn't sound like a lot of fun either. It involves a big needle and your finger. Pass.
