Parents Spend Two Full Days a Year Waiting in the Car For Their Kids
A survey from Daily Mail by a British car insurance company found that parents, on average, spend 75 minutes a week sitting in their car, waiting to pick up their kids from some activity.
That's only 10 or 15 minutes a day, but it adds up to 65 hours a year . . . or more than TWO and a half DAYS. And one in three parents spend FIVE HOURS a week waiting for their kids to finish up with their activities . . . which is nearly 11 days a year.
That doesn't include travel time . . . just waiting. The average parent drives 24.7 miles a week taking their kids to activities . . . but one in 10 drive more than 50 miles a week.
