BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) — Officials in southwestern Montana say one man died and another was critically injured in an airplane crash at the West Yellowstone airport.

Gallatin County Sheriff Brian Gootkin says the men were in a Beechcraft Bonanza, a small passenger plane that crashed at about 11:30 a.m. Monday.

The injured man was flown to the hospital in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where he was listed in critical condition. The men's names and hometowns haven't been released. Gootkin says the National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
