TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) The teachers at Oakley Jr. High came away with the top prize at a recent fundraiser for area schools.

The Idaho Lottery says they had 65 schools represented Monday for it's Scratch for School event held at the College of Southern Idaho. A total of 465 schools across the state are set to compete for an estimated $100,000.

On Monday, about 22,000 scratch tickets were given to schools to claim as much winnings as possible in two hours. Oakley Jr. High walked away with the most winnings with $478. A total of $12,543 was won by area schools.
