Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - The Jerome Police Department and the Jerome School District investigated a bomb threat at the High School this Tuesday.

Police Chief Dan Hall said he was notified of the incident around 9:15 a.m. after a message was discovered written on a boys bathroom wall that a bomb was going to be detonated.  Police and School Administration identified three male students who officials believe had information pertaining to the incident. Following further investigation, it was determined that there was not a credible threat but the police chief said it still could be determined that the threat will be a investigated as a crime..

A text message issued at 5pm by the school district indicated that police officers and district officials remained on the campus of the High School for the duration of the threat.
