POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Jeff Kirkman has been named the new warden for the Pocatello Women's Correctional Center. The Idaho Department of Correction made the announcement Thursday. The agency says Kirkman joined the department in 2001 and most recently was the statewide coordinator for access to courts, religious activities and volunteers. He replaces Nancy Espeseth, who was removed from the post in November after 10 months on the job following a misdemeanor DUI arrest. She has pleaded not guilty. The Pocatello Women's Correctional Center is a 289-bed prison that incarcerates women classified in all custody levels.
