BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A driver is facing charges after he led police on a 170-mile chase from Mountain Home to Baker City, Oregon.

The Idaho Statesman reports that Idaho State Police received a complaint of a reckless driver in a gray 2014 Ford Mustang on Interstate 84 west of Mountain home. When officers found the driver, he refused to stop and instead took off at speeds of up to 146 miles an hour.

Once in Oregon, Oregon State Troopers used a spike strip to flatten the Mustang's tires and then another trooper maneuvered to stop the vehicle. The 33-year-old driver of Albuquerque, New Mexico, was charged with reckless driving and attempting to elude.
