New Magic Valley Judges

(KLIX)- The Magic Valley has two new magistrate judges. On Friday the Fifth Judicial District announced Blaine Cannon and Calvin Campbell as judges. Campbell will replace former judge Nicole Cannon who resigned amid DUI charges in June. He will serve Twin Falls as judge. Cannon will replace Honorable Larry Duff who retired in June. He will serve Minidoka County. Mr. Campbell was elected as Gooding County prosecutor in 2005. He has also served as prosecutor in a number of other counties. Mr. Cannon is the current deputy prosecutor for Cassia County. Both judges will go through a probation period, once past that they are up for election and can serve 4 years.
