New Direct Flights from Idaho to Texas

BOISE, Idaho (KTVB)- Travelers have a new flight option at the Boise Airport. United Airlines now offers non-stop service to Houston, Texas.

Boise Airport Director Rebecca Hupp says there's demand for business travel to the Lone Star State. Airport employees helped the airline celebrate the new flight with refreshments and some giveaways this morning.

There was also a water arch on the runway. Houston marks the 19th non-stop destination offered at the Boise Airport. Right now, there's one United flight a day from Boise to Houston. Rupp says if there's high demand, a second daily flight could be added.
