Need for Speed: Rivals to Skid onto PlayStation 4 at Launch
If you want to get your hands on Need for Speed: Rivals, it seems that the fastest way to do so is to grab it when the PlayStation 4 launches.
According to the PlayStation Blog, Need for Speed Rivals will be a launch title for the PlayStation 4. Originally slated to arrive on Nov. 19, the title has had its PS4 release moved up, while every other console will get it later. Need for Speed Rivals gets the distinction of being the first racing game available for the new next-gen console and will come packed with the Frostbite 3 engine and the new AllDrive feature. AllDrive allows players to seamlessly switch between single player, co-op, and multiplayer gameplay.
As for how Need for Speed Rivals will take advantage of the PlayStation 4’s features, the Share button will ensure that you’ll be able to show off your crazy AllDrive moments with a single press. And don’t forget about the sweet Remote Play feature on the PlayStation Vita.
Get set to tear up the asphalt with racers and cops on Nov. 15 on PlayStation 4.
