UPDATE - The National Night out in Twin Falls has been cancelled due to the weather.

Tonight we join together as a community for National Night Out in the Twin Falls City Park. And really not just as a community - but as a nation! This event is happening everywhere. This will be the 4th Annual National Night Out event from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Twin Falls City Park. This event is to provide the community an opportunity to come down and meet their local law enforcement to form a partnership between the community and law enforcement to fight crime.

The Twin Falls Police Department and Target Stores are the sponsors for the event in our area. There will be several local law enforcement agencies, including the Twin Falls Sheriff Office, Idaho State Police, CSI Law Enforcement Program, BLM Enforcement, Forest Service Enforcement, Idaho Dept. of Fish n Game, along with the Twin Falls Fire Department and SLMVRMC Paramedics on site.

These agencies will be displaying equipment used, handing out stickers and providing a lot of interaction with citizens and children. Target will be providing activities for children to participate in. Falls Brand has donated hotdogs, which will be provided free to those attending the event. Target also provides snacks and drinks.

It is going to be a fun event for the family so come out tonight!
