COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — A 29-year-old northern Idaho man has pleaded guilty to a federal charge of producing child pornography. U.S. Attorney Wendy Olson says Dylan Joral Ritter of Post Falls entered the guilty plea in Coeur d'Alene's U.S. District Court on Monday.

Prosecutors say an agent with U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigation discovered Ritter had been making child pornography on the internet.

Prosecutors say Ritter admitted he had downloaded child pornography and that he had abused a toddler and taken pictures of the abuse using his cellphone. Ritter faces up to 30 years in prison when he is sentenced on Oct. 16.
