Everyone is talking today about how great Prince is. Honestly - he really was amazing. He could sing, wail on the guitar, and even wrote hits for other artists. A good majority of my morning today was just watching videos of him playing guitar. I didn't grow up listening to Prince, he never came to Twin Falls to perform, and I have to admit that I had no idea he was this good!

Here are my 5 favorite live performances of Prince!

At the 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductions Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, and Steve Winwood were doing a great job of covering the Beatles hit While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Then - boom - out of left field Prince shows up and takes the whole performance to another level!

The 2007 Superbowl Halftime Show is arguably the greatest halftime show ever. This is why - Prince performing Purple Rain in the rain.

Prince performing Let's Go Crazy live is all you should need to want to watch this one!

At the 1985 American Music Awards Prince rocked the stage with Purple Rain...which is a great song. When he pulls out his guitar - that's when the real magic happens.

This one is a newer Prince song but it shows how far he has come and gives you a 100 percent taste of his flair, stage presence, song writing, and guitar mastery.
