Movie Updates Coming for Marvel: Avengers Alliance

With 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' and 'Guardians of the Galaxy' on the way, everyone's favorite comic-based Facebook game is getting a roster update.

According to MTV, Marvel: Avengers Alliance will be updating itself to introduce characters and missions from Marvel's upcoming 'Captain America' and 'Guardians of the Galaxy' feature films. While the social media title has already updated itself in the past to include Marvel's big-time, annual comic book events, this update will be more in tune with these two anticipated movies.

Coinciding with Phase Two of Marvel's films (with Phase One including all the movies that led up to 'The Avengers'), Season Two of Avengers Alliance will greatly expand on the game's current universe. Expect to see a lot of otherworldly characters, which will eventually build up to the release of intergalactic favorites such as Thanos and the Guardians of the Galaxy.

The Winter Soldier/Captain America missions for Avengers Alliance will launch on its Facebook edition later this month.
