Motorcyclist and Bicyclist Killed on Idaho Roads

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A motorcyclist and a bicyclist are dead in separate accidents on Idaho highways. Idaho State Police says 61-year-old Theresa Grossklaus, of Orofino, died Friday when the bicycle she was riding was struck by a truck on U.S. 12 in northern Idaho.

Grossklaus was pronounced dead at the scene. Also on Friday, Idaho State Police reported that 28-year-old Fernando Gonzales, of Roberts, died when his motorcycle failed to negotiate a slight curve on state Highway 48 in Jefferson County and crashed.

Police say Gonzales was not wearing a helmet. Both crashes are under investigation.
