TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) A motorcyclist and passenger had to be airlifted during the Memorial Day weekend after another motorcycle hit them. According to Idaho State Police, Jeffrey Lovell, 37, and passenger Makisha Sorensen, 37, both of Rigby, were thrown from their Harley Davidson motorcycle when Aaron Keele, 43, of Idaho Falls, also on a Harley, made an unsafe lane change in the eastbound off ramp on Interstate 84 and hit their bike just after 7:30.

Lovell and Sorensen, who were not wearing helmets, had to be flown by air ambulance to an eastern Idaho hospital; Keele had his helmet on. The crash shut down the roadway for a little more than an hour.
