Moscow Shooting Spree Suspect Due in Court

MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — A judge is set to determine if a man accused of slaying three Moscow residents and injuring another man will face triple homicide charges.

The Lewiston Tribune reports the preliminary hearing for 29-year-old John Lee, also known as Kane Grzebielski, starts Thursday in the Latah County Courthouse.

Lee faces three counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of his adoptive mother, his landlord and a Moscow Arby's manager on Jan. 10. He has also been charged with one count of aggravated battery for allegedly shooting a Seattle resident.

Lee fled after the shootings, leading police on a high-speed chase before being apprehended north of Steptoe.

If a judge determines there is sufficient probable cause in the case, Lee will be bound over to 2nd District Court to stand trial.
