TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- A Montana man is making a 1265 mile trek to raise awareness about suicide prevention. Darick Reed survived a suicide attempt  and has started a walk of hope. Reed began in Missoula Montana on August 2nd and is making his way to Los Angeles California on foot. NewsRadio1310 spoke to him late last week as he made his way past the Timerman Rest area south of Bellevue. He is walking on behalf of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Reed Made his way to Twin Falls on Friday and has covered roughly 250 miles. He says the best way for family to address the issue of suicide is be informed and offer support.
