IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — The Bonneville County sheriff's office says deputies have recovered the body of a 38-year-old Utah man who was among four people in a fishing boat that overturned in the Snake River last month.

Sgt. Jeff Edwards says deputies found the body of Steve Ryan Woods of Ogden, Utah, after getting a report Monday afternoon from a fisherman. A dive team member was able to recover his body in the Snake River between Heise and Twin Bridges, downstream of the boating accident. Woods' waders had become snagged in the roots of a tree.

Three of Woods' boating companions were able to make it to shore after their boat struck a partially submerged cottonwood tree on the night of May 24. Numerous people from different agencies assisted in the search.
