PASCO, Wash. -- A Sandpoint, Idaho, woman who had reportedly disappeared while stopping at a fruit stand near Pasco has been found safe. Franklin County Sargent Bryan Pferffer says 21-year-old Rashelle Klontz was found by a farmer laying in a wheat field about a quarter of a mile from the location she had last been seen.

She is a little dehydrated and dirty but otherwise fine. Klontz had been missing since around 3 p.m. Sunday when she stopped at the Country Mercantile. Her purse, cellphone and laptop were found inside the store. Her SUV was left in the parking lot. While searching for Klontz, police read her journal entries that mentioned hiking into the desert to pray.

Her father, Rick Klontz, said she is devoted to her religion. Klontz was on her way back to Sandpoint after spending a few days with friends in Hermiston, Ore. She is set to get married July 19.
