A woman missing out of Elmore County was found alive Thursday morning in a rugged canyon near Buhl.  25 year old Ashly Hankins had been missing from her King Hill home since Monday. The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office said Hankins was found in the River Road area near Buhl around 9 a.m. Hankins apparently  fell through an area of rough, steep terrain and was unable to get back to her truck. It is not known how far she fell or what she was doing in the area. Her truck was found around 7 p.m. Wednesday near the top of the grade. Twin Falls County deputies, including a K-9 unit search for several hours, but the search was called off due to darkness. On Thursday morning, a farmer heard her cries for help.  She was taken by air ambulance to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls. Authorities say she was in relatively good condition, but disoriented due to dehydration. It is unclear how long she had been in the canyon.
