I know there are many of you who have a special someone in your life that wants a new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch for Christmas, but let's face it: Apple's Cyber Monday deals weren't that good.

What if there was a way to get a great deal on Apple gear right now? There is, and they're called refurbished products.

There's a great article from Gizmodo today on Apple's refurbished products, and the deals you can find there. This is a wondrous place I've known of for years. In Apple Refurb Land you can buy products that have been sent back to Apple, repaired, and still carry Apple's great Apple Care protection plan. It's a magical land full of win and possibly unicorns*.

Here's a sample of the deals you can find now:

I've bought refurbished Apple products several times and have been pleased with every purchase. I even bought my wife's iPad last Christmas in the Refurb Store and saved almost $100 off retail.

I think the term "refurbished" gets a bad rap, but it really shouldn't. I buy most of my tech gear refurbished. It saves money, the gear is completely repaired and tested, and when you take it out of the box it's brand new. This isn't something you buy off Craigslist or eBay that some guy's dog chewed on, this is essentially a brand new product straight from the factory.

So if you have someone on your Christmas list asking for an iPad, iPhone, or iPod, visit Apple's Special Deals Store and save yourself a lot of money and get a great product you can trust.

*Magical unicorns not included (although they can be downloaded from the App Store).
