Paul, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Following up on a claim from the Minidoka County Beet Growers Association that they were missing $13,900, the Minidoka County Sheriff’s Office has arrested the associations former Treasurer.

Sheriff Eric Snarr said that on Saturday, July 26, deputies arrested Kody Lynn Nielsen, 35 of Paul, on four counts of Grand Theft, six counts of Burglary, possession of a forged check and petit theft. Nielsen was booked into the Mini-Cassia Criminal Justice Center on a $75,000 warrant.

Later that day, he was released on a bond. The association claim the money went missing during the months of February through May of this year. Sheriff Snarr said that Nielsen was the Treasurer of the association at the time the funds disappeared.
