In what seems like a boxing and movie lover's dream, it appears that Martin Scorsese will soon be directing a film based on the life of Mike Tyson, starring Jamie Foxx. Nothing is completely official yet, but it sure sounds like it's close. Here's what Foxx had to say last week:

I just went in with Paramount with Mike Tyson. So I’m going to do the Mike Tyson story. Listen, to be in the same room pitching Mike Tyson to Paramount, Mike Tyson is on one side, I’m on the other side doing Mike Tyson at the same time. And Martin Scorsese at the helm. This will be the first boxing movie that Martin Scorsese has done since 'Raging Bull.'

So, presumably to help get Foxx into character, Tyson put together a 57-minute collection of every single one of his knockouts. Anyone who had the chance to watch a young Tyson back in the '80s and '90s just absolutely demolish opponents with some of the most vicious uppercuts ever thrown should get a huge rush of nostaligic adrenaline (nostalgaline?) watching this.

And if you aren't that familiar with Kid Dynamite's early days, you are in for a one-hour treat here. Have you ever seen a boxer who is quite clearly terrified of his opponent, standing just a few feet away? That sensation rocked many big-time fighters who came up against Tyson. Soon after, something else rocked them. (We're talking about punches.)
