The 2016 American Country Countdown Awards will open with a collaborative performance featuring three country women: Martina McBride, Jennifer Nettles and Cam. The three singers will perform McBride's "This One's for the Girls."

Written by Chris Lindsey, Hillary Lindsey and Aimee Mayo, "This One's for the Girls" became a Top 5 hit on the country charts following its release in 2003; it also hit No. 1 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. The song was the first single from McBride's Martina album, and featured background vocals from Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Faith Hill and McBride's daughters Delaney and Emma.

The trio's awards show-opening performance will be their first time onstage together.

"I always look forward to singing this song because it resonates with so many different people of all different ages,” McBride says in a press release. “With Jennifer and Cam joining me for the first time, the song will be even more fun, and I’m so happy we’ll be performing this together."
