Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Activists took to the streets of Twin Falls Monday in order to push for the legalization of medical marijuana. New Approach Idaho is an organization that works to reform cannabis laws throughout the state. The group stood at 5 points on Blue Lakes Blvd, encouraging drivers to stop and sign a petition. They are calling for the legalization of medical marijuana and the decriminalization of three ounces of weed or less.

In order to get the measure on the ballot next year, six–percent of each district's population needs to sign the petition. You can find them by visiting LegalizeIdaho.org. The group gathered at 5 points at noon. In an hour they were able to get 45 signatures.
