Man Who Walked Away from State Hospital South in Custody

BLACKFOOT, Idaho (AP) — Eastern Idaho authorities yesterday took into custody a 33-year-old man with violent tendencies who walked away from a mental health facility.

Authorities say Dustin Jarret Hinkle was located by the Blackfoot Police Department. No other details have been released. Authorities say Hinkle walked away from State Hospital South on Dec. 5. Hinkle had been at State Hospital South under a court order to receive treatment.
