Man Tries to Rescue Cell Phone, Is Trapped on Canyon Rim Wall

TWIN FALLS, ID. ( KMVT / KSVT ) - A man who was attempting to rescue a cell phone that was dropped over the edge of the canyon wall, ended up needing to be rescued.

The incident happened Tuesday afternoon at Federation Point. The man called another person to throw down a rope but it was quickly determined using that method would be too dangerous.

The Twin Falls fire department responded to the scene to assist in the rescue. No injuries have been reported from the scene. Crews remain on scene.
