GARDEN CITY, Idaho (AP) — Police arrested a Meridian man after he led an officer on a foot chase and then snatched the officer's Taser. The Idaho Statesman reports  witnesses told Garden City police a man was wandering through neighbors' yards Monday night, picking up children's toys and other items.

A caller told dispatchers the man appeared disoriented. An officer chased the man into the backyard of a home, where the man took the Taser. The stun gun was never fire and the man was placed in handcuffs.

Deylen Scott Loos has been charged with a felony for disarming a police officer, along with charges of resisting arrest and being under the influence of drugs in public. The 28-year-old Loos is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
