BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A 57-year-old Las Vegas man has been sentenced to more than five years in prison and ordered to pay $222,000 in restitution for a series of ATM thefts in western states from June 2012 through January 2013.District Judge Edward J. Lodge sentenced Clarence Edward Lancaster on Monday in Boise. Lancaster earlier pleaded guilty to bank larceny for stealing an ATM from the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls in July 2012. The plea agreement resolved 21 ATM thefts committed in Idaho, Wyoming, Washington, Utah, Oregon and Arizona. Lancaster was arrested in Arizona in January 2013 after trying to steal an ATM from Eastern Arizona College. Prosecutors say the thefts netted $124,000 in cash and caused more than $90,000 in damage.
