Man Missing in Boise County

CROUCH, Idaho (AP) — A 47-year-old man has been reported missing in Boise County. Authorities say the man was last seen by friends Friday going to fill up his canteen at the Payette River at Skinny Dipper Hot Springs. When he didn't return, the friends went looking for him and then contacted the Boise County Sheriff's Office, which initiated a search and rescue operation. Officials say the water is very cold and high. They ask that people use caution near the river.
