On Sunday, November 20, 2016 at approximately 7:28 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a single-vehicle, injury crash at the intersection of River Road and Bliss Grade Road near Bliss, in Gooding County.

 

James Brizendine, 41, of Bliss, was eastbound on River Road in a 1996 Toyota Tacoma.  He failed to negotiate a curve and the Toyota went off the right shoulder.  The vehicle rolled off the roadway and came to rest on its top.

 

Brizendine was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.  He was transported to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise by air ambulance.  The road was blocked for approximately four hours.

 

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
