Man Dies In Crash at Hansen Bridge

(KLIX)- A California man died after a two vehicle crash near the Hansen Bridge Sunday afternoon. According to Idaho State Police Jeffrey Evans of Grass Valley California tried to make a U-turn on the north side of the bridge at around 5:30pm yesterday. Police say Shane Scott of Filer was headed west in a 2002 GMC pickup and struck Evans’ vehicle as he attempted to make a u-turn. The California man died at the scene. His passenger Susan Evans was flown to a local hospital. Two other occupants including the driver of the pickup were wearing seat-belts. The highway was closed for about 3 hours.
