Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) A man is facing felony drug charges and more after he reportedly threatened to kill staff at a local motel.

It all happened at the Super 8 Motel on Blue Lakes Boulevard North, on June 20th, just before noon. According to court records, Twin Falls P.D. were called to the motel for a disturbance. While en route police were told 26-year-old Phillip James Butler was threatening to kill one of the housekeepers and her children, and he was refusing to leave. When officers arrived on scene, they found Butler in his car in the parking lot. Also in the car, a woman, a young child and a baby.

When police searched the car, they reportedly found a toiletry bag with about two dozen used and unused syringes, two glass pipes, two bottles of various pills, a tourniquet, several spoons with burnt residue, and cotton balls. The report says the cotton balls later tested positive for methamphetamine. Butler is charged with felony controlled-substance and disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.
