BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A man charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the May 8 shooting deaths of two men in Boise, Idaho, has been ordered extradited from Pennsylvania.

The Idaho Statesman reports that the extradition request naming John C. Douglas was approved Tuesday in a court in Reading, Pennsylvania. Douglas is accused of shooting 28-year-old Elliott Bailey and 27-year-old Travontae Calloway at an apartment. Calloway's girlfriend was wounded.

The defendant was arrested July 28. A second man arrested in the case, Samari Winn, is accused of taking a gunman to the apartment. Winn is also charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

Police and prosecutors have not discussed a motive. Winn's lawyer, Randall Barnum, previously said in court that the shootings were prompted by the theft of 30 pounds of marijuana.
