BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Boise police have arrested a Florida man in connection with a museum theft. KTVB-TV reports that 25-year-old Moises Carranza of Boynton Beach, Florida turned himself in Wednesday and is now facing a felony burglary charge.

Police say Carranza stole an antique gun and a tomahawk from the Idaho Museum of Mining on July 29. Police were tipped off by a citizen with information about the crime on Wednesday.

Officers were then able to locate the two stolen items in Twin Falls that had reportedly been taken. Boise police detectives say the items will be returned to the museum. Carranza remains held in the Ada County Jail.
